It is not bad, but I never got into it and I just did the basics of what I was required to do. The game is packed with quests and some very memorable ones too so there is a lot here that is going to keep you busy. The Boston location is probably my favorite location in a Fallout game so far. As much as I loved Fallout 3, the Washington setting was quite drab and it had a hell of a lot of brown and grey.

There are still depressing places like that here, but there is a lot more color in this game than in the previous two Fallout games. It is a tiny change, but one that keeps things flowing, while still giving you a little more time to plan attacks. This accelerated pace is a constant theme. Firstly, the advantages of this heavy duty equipment is not as pronounced, with its use throttled by the need for fusion cells to power it.
